Do you charge for an estimate?
No. Send us the details and photos of the project and we will come back to you. For most jobs we will want to see it in person before giving you a firm number.
Can one contractor really handle both the carpentry and the painting?
That is the point of how we work. Running both means the sequence is planned once, repairs are primed and sealed correctly before finish coats, and nobody has to be scheduled twice around somebody else. It is also why there is one person responsible for the result rather than two pointing at each other.
Do you work in occupied homes?
Most of our work is in occupied homes. Rooms are sequenced so you always keep a kitchen, a bathroom and a route between them, dust is contained properly, and low-VOC coatings mean interior rooms come back into use the same day.
What towns do you cover?
Norwood, Westwood, Walpole, Dedham, Canton and Sharon. We are based in Norwood. If you are just outside that, ask — it depends on the job.
What is the difference between a refresh and a full remodel?
A refresh works with what is there: paint, fixtures, surfaces, trim. A remodel changes what is there: layout, substrate, structure. The honest answer for a lot of kitchens and bathrooms is that a refresh gets you most of the result, and we will say so when that is the case rather than quoting the larger job by default.
How do I get a realistic price without a site visit?
Photos. Close-ups of anything damaged, a shot of the trim detail, and a wide shot of each space tells us far more than a room count. Our estimate form is built around that, and it means the number we give you is much closer to the number you pay.
What are your hours?
Monday to Saturday, 7:00am to 4:00pm. Closed Sunday. Estimate requests submitted outside those hours are answered the next working day.
What's the biggest mistake homeowners make on a remodel?
Starting demo before selections are locked. On a kitchen especially, every delay after demo is a day you do not have a kitchen. Lead times on cabinets and countertops set the schedule — not labour.
